Tenten in North opened 1heart and Mr.Sandman in South bid 2NT.
3clubs showed a club suit and a strong hand. Mr. Sandman bid 3hearts waiting bid,
then 3spades and 4diamonds were cuebids.
Tenten slowed down I 4hearts, but Mr. Sandman had plenty of resources and bid 4NT; Roman Key Card Blackwood.
5clubs showed 3 (or zero) aces and 5NT was grand slam interest.
6clubs showed the king of clubs and Mr. Sandman bid 7 hearts, a bit risky with J x x in clubs.
The declarer play was very interesting. Tenten received the diamond queen lead.
He temporised the play perfectly by taking the following route: He won with the diamond king.
Cashed the ace of spades, and ruffed a spade high. Then he lead a trump to South and ruffed the last spade high.
He draw the outstanding trump and cashed the ace and king of clubs.
Then he led a trump to dummy, and cashed another trump from dummy, discarding a club from his hand.
This was the position:

Tenten cashed his last trump discarding his last club. East was squeezed in diamonds and clubs.
He correctly hoped that partner had 10x left and discarded a diamond,
but then North scored the two last tricks in diamonds.
A beautifully performed squeeze for a well deserved top.
More information about the Topbridge system is available at our nice web pages.
